We have produced several world champions (more information about this can be found in our blog) Fitness benefits of Martial Arts training include improved flexibility, increased relative strength, better cardio and a unique endurance.

Adults BJJ Classes
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a difficult but rewarding martial art. Unlike many other martial arts it has no striking, instead mostly taking place on the ground and utilising chokes, strangles and joint locks.
Today Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been around long enough for us to know the benefits beyond the marketing hype.

Women Only BJJ
Learning how to defend yourself is an empowering experience for women, and BJJ is a great way to do this. As well as increasing self-confidence, BJJ will help improve strength, teach how to grapple effectively and powerfully, as well teach key defensive moves.
BJJ is a fantastic way to improve functional strength for women. The different techniques used in training help to build muscular endurance and longevity, and these increase strength and physical ability that carries through to everyday life outside of the gym.

Kids BJJ Classes
Kids BJJ skills have a practical application in addition to being great exercise. In a world that can leave us feeling vulnerable at times, having the confidence that comes with learning BJJ is a tremendous asset. You not only have the skills to take care of yourself, you also exude that confidence, which can be a great advantage and benefit.
On top of that, the physical fitness that you gain from BJJ helps you feel better about yourself as well.

Wrestling Classes
Although many wrestlers don't start out as natural athletes, wrestling improves balance, reflexes, strength, endurance, and agility. Wrestlers are often lean and strong for their body weight.
The knowledge they'll gain about proper dieting and weight maintenance will benefit wrestlers long after their competitive careers are over. Wrestling will undoubtedly improve an athlete's capabilities in other sports as well.

MMA Classes
One of the world’s fastest growing sports, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) puts fighters from various combat sports and martial arts disciplines against one another for three five-minute rounds. The object is to defeat your opponent through a combination of strikes, punches, throws and grappling techniques. Fighters recognise that to succeed they must be well versed in a diverse set of skills and tactics.

Women Only
Women can benefit greatly from the confidence that comes with BJJ. It is a confidence like no other, knowing that you can defend yourself and your family if the situation arises. A fitter and healthier body is also a result experienced from regular training and can assist with self-esteem.
Whether we are talking about the stay-at-home mum, the full-time worker or university student, women these days lead busy and highly stressful lives. The exercise of BJJ is great for stress release. Jiu-jitsu can release stress in a way that other sports and gym exercise cannot.
This is due to the fight or flight aspect of fighting that is not experienced outside of the mats. Exercise also releases endorphins that are the ‘feel good hormone’ which promote positive emotions. Perfect for those days when you’re feeling flat.

suraj kumar:In 2016, I watched a Jackie Chan movie and was blown away by the fight scenes. I wanted to learn how to fight, so that night, I searched for the coolest martial arts and found Hapkido, a Korean martial art. I trained in it for almost three years. In Hapkido, you can kick and punch, but when you take someone down, you can’t hit them—you have one minute to make them submit, like in jiu-jitsu. I didn’t like the striking, but I loved grappling.I wanted a martial art focused only on grappling and submissions, so I researched and discovered jiu-jitsu. The next day, I joined Tu Kaha Jiu-Jitsu in Auckland and began my jiu-jitsu journey. In 2019, I moved to Melbourne and kept training at Mint Martial Arts. One day, Professor Jihad visited and taught a class about the Kimura. I loved how he taught and wished he could be my coach, but I didn’t get to talk to him and never saw him there again.Later, I moved to Jacana and switched to AET gym. One Saturday, after competition rounds, I went to the AET kitchen and saw “Big G”—it was Professor Jihad! I was overjoyed to find him. I reached out to him and started training at GForce. He’s been my coach ever since, guiding me from a white belt with no stripes to now.Along the way, I made lifelong friends like Coach Halis, Coach Anton, Ali, my big brother Phill, Huss, and many training partners who’ve helped me grow.04 August 2022 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
